You've probably heard the term "ERP" used on campus over the last couple of years. Chances are, you still aren't quite sure what it means or what it has to do with you.

ERP stands for enterprise resource planning, which describes a business process management software. This specialized software provides a system of integrated applications for managing business processes and automating office functions related to technology, services and human resources.

Basically, an ERP is how we run things around here, from admissions to payroll and purchasing requests.

In UL Lafayette's case, we have implemented a new ERP called Banner to replace ISIS and improve business processes.
